Drag/Antidrag Bracing Tubes

The latest is to have glued and riveted the bracing pockets in place and the drag/anti drag bracing tubes.

Fuel Tank and Bracing Pockets

Recent work has seen the wing tanks fitted in place and located with clecos. Similarly the pockets for the diagonal wing bracing tubes have been located and pilot drilled for riveting. The port wing is shown in the jig and the starboard wing is shown hanging against the wall.

Here are some photos of assembling the wing ribs and gluing them into position on the aluminium spars.

Un-packing the AeroVee motor kit.

Here are some photos of the motor kit. The aero engine is built around VW components with adaptation to this application. 80 HP with duel ignition and direct drive to the prop.
